The Hepworth Wakefield Cafe

If you’re planning a visit to The Hepworth in the next couple of weeks and are thinking of calling in at the cafe to see ‘In the Garden’ (and naturally for delicious refreshments) then I have a bit of a celebratory confession. All six of the winter paintings that were on display have found new homes! I’m very grateful to that people have kindly supported my work. I’m working on some new summer paintings which I hope will be on display in The Hepworth Cafe by the end of July.
The exhibition features beautiful original paintings by Tony Wade, felted artworks by Helen Riddle and prints by , Sarah Abbot, Clare Curtis Studio Wald and Ellie Way.
“The Hepworth Wakefield Garden, designed by Tom Stuart-Smith, has become a source of inspiration for many visiting artists.
In The Garden, a new exhibition on display in our café, brings together seven artists – Sarah Abbott, Clare Curtis, Helen Riddle, Helen Thomas, Tony Wade, Studio Wald and Ellie Way – who have captured the garden in their work.”
